I have a soft spot for Spanish retailers like Zara and Stradivarius and Mango – a bit of national pride perhaps? Mango has a special place in my heart because it’s the first shop where I spent my actual money on questionably fashionable clothes. It was the early 90’s and a beige jersey playsuit with a hood seemed like a good idea at the time. I wore it with my purple DMs (yes really) and thought I looked the biz!
But enough of my trip down memory lane, I really want to tell you about the fab collection of accessories. Chandelier style earrings are especially good, I have chosen my favourite pair but there are a lot of styles to choose from and plenty of more discreet earrings if they are not quite your thing.
Mango do really really decent handbags from time to time and I think this bucket bag looks a lot more expensive than the price tag suggest. I would also invest in the ring handle tote because I can see them going strong into the seasons ahead. If it’s summer vibes you are after, you can’t go far wrong with this gorgeous raffia basket bag.

In the shoe department I am temped by the metallic heel ankle boots. I missed out during the winter months and I am sorry I did. These look great styled with a simple white t-shirt and jeans and a khaki jacket. In terms of sandals, may I suggest these pompom flats? Pompoms were really picking up a pace last summer and they are everywhere this year so don’t be afraid to include a few in your wardrobe.

Then there’s that white shoe trend that just wont go away but I like more and more each day – these pumps might just make me jump onboard!
