After months of leaving a cryptic trail of breadcrumbs and hinting that I was working on something exciting, I am finally very proud to announce the launch of Exclusives for Tinker Tailor. My first collection of lifestyle products in collaboration with Neon Marl and JoinStore London.
Designing and launching my own range of lifestyle goods is a dream come true and I feel so fortunate that I can take my first steps in this new arena with the help of two designers and businesswomen whom I respect and admire. The creative process has been a wonderful experience and signals a step forward for the Tinker Tailor brand.
I have stocked Neon Marl and Join Store London since I opened Tinker Tailor in September 2017 and they have been big hits in store. Sales and customer feedback speak for themselves so when the idea to turn things up a notch came about, the partnership with Amber (Neon Marl) and Jen (Join) was obvious. It helps that we all get on like a house on fire too!
A handcrafted collection
The collection includes candles made by hand in South East London using vegan, carbon neutral soy wax. The fragrance is inspired by my Spanish upbringing and is evocative of springtime in the Mediterranean, a blend of mandarin, geranium, lavender and peppermint. I’m sure you’ll fall in love with it.
For the partnership with Neon Marl I wanted to keep things simple but still retain the signature Neon Marl look and so the Bolt and Neon Rainbow Bretons were born. Both designs are exclusive to Tinker Tailor and handprinted by Amber from her studio in Bedfordshire. In addition to the tops we have created two washbags to complement the Bretons. You can catch a sneaky peek at the collection if you look closely at the images in this post. Let me know what you think!
The one thing I haven’t told you is how you can shop Exclusives for Tinker Tailor. We will be launching at the Occasional Home Store on March 3rd and the products should be online shortly after. I was planning to reveal my newly developed website and rebranding at the same time but things rarely work out the way you planned them so I decided to go ahead anyway. I will post updates on my social media channels soon and keep an eye out for further collaborations which are already in the pipeline!
Thank you for joining me in this unexpected and extraordinary journey and I hope you’ll love the collection as much as I do.
